The following telegraphic communication, concerning Jewish detainees in Kenya, has been addressed to the United Nations Palestine Commission by the Jewish Community Council, Haifa.

PARENTS OF JEWISH PRISONERS AND DETAINEES KEPT IN KENYA EXTREMELY ANXIOUS ABOUT THEIR FATE IN VIEW OF PRESENT SITUATION STOP THEIR DEMAND IMMEDIATE RETURN TO PALESTINE STOP WE FULLY SUPPORT THIS DEMAND WHICH IS THE DEMAND OF THE ENTIRE PALESTINE JEWRY STOP IMPOSSIBLE TO PROLONG DETENTION OF PALESTINIAN JEWS ABROAD IN PRESENT CIRCUMSTANCES STOP PLEASE USE YOUR INFLUENCE TO ENSURE THAT THIS ELEMENTARY REQUEST IS MET
