First Reading of the draft Progress Report to the Secretary-General of the United nations
The General Committee began the reading, article by article of the draft Progress Report prepared by the Secretariat.
The Committee decided to make certain minor or drafting changes in the text of the Report.
The meeting was adjourned at 12 noon on 1 May and resumed on the following day, 2 May, for the purpose of completing the discussion of the Report.
The draft Progress Report was provisionally adopted, subject to the later inclusion of any necessary additions and to its examination by the Commission.
The meeting rose at 11.45 a.m. on 2 May.
