The following communication, concerning the “Administration Generale des Phares de Palestine”, has been received from Mr. Fletcher-Cooke of the United Kingdom Delegation.

My dear Bunche:
I have been asked to bring to the notice of the Commission that the Haifa Agency of the “Administration Generale des Phares de Palestine” has been informed that in view of the impending relinquishment of the Mandate all business in connection with the lighthouse concession should be referred to the successor authority and that the United Nations Palestine Commission is being informed accordingly.
2. I am sending a copy of this letter to Mr. Finn Moe, rapporteur of the Sub Committee of the 1st Committee of the General Assembly.
