Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of the State of Israel
The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of the State of Israel.
The Secretary-General highlighted the growing cooperation with Israel during his tenure and the country's strengthened representation in different UN bodies.
He also underlined the international community’s reaffirmation of the two-state solution as the only way to a sustainable peace. The Secretary-General expressed concern over the continued settlement-related activity.
