Letter dated 19 July 2005 from the Chargé d’affaires a.i. of the
Permanent Mission of Kuwait to the United Nations addressed to
the President of the Security Council

In my capacity as Chairman of the Arab Group for the month of July 2005, and on behalf of the States members of the League of Arab States, I have the honour to request an immediate meeting of the Security Council to consider the recent developments in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, in particular Israel’s continued and accelerated settlement activities, including the construction of its unlawful wall, as well as the dire situation on the ground.
