Appointment of a member of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People |
At its 59th plenary meeting, on 6 December 1990, the General Assembly took note of the appointment by its President of the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic as a member of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, with immediate effect, to fill the vacancy brought about by the accession of the GERMAN DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC to the Federal Republic of Germany.
As a result, the committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian Peoples is composed of the following twenty-three States: AFGHANISTAN, BYELORUSSIAN SOVIET SOCIALIST REPUBLIC, CUBA, CYPRUS, GUINEA, GUYANA HUNGARY, INDIA, INDONESIA, LAO PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC, MADAGASCAR, MALAYSIA, MALI, MALTA, NIGERIA, PAKISTAN, ROMANIA, SENEGAL, SIERRA LEONE, TUNISIA, TURKEY, UKRAINIAN SOVIET SOCIALIST REPUBLIC and YUGOSLAVIA.
