4.   His Government asked the international community to intervene in order to end the genocide against the Palestinians and the spiral of violent State terrorism in Gaza. Two little girls had died in an attack on a school run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), and he echoed the words of the Commissioner-General of UNRWA, Mr. Hansen, who had denounced the daily violation of children’s right to life in the occupied territories.

The meeting rose at 6 p.m.
