LETTER DATED 29 AUGUST 1989 FROM THE CHARGE D'AFFAIRES A.I. OF THE PERMANENT MISSION OF QATAR TO THE UNITED NATIONS ADDRESSED TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE SECURITY COUNCIL
On behalf of the Group of Arab States and on behalf of its members, I have the honour to request the convening of an urgent meeting of the Security Council in order to consider the situation in the occupied Palestinian territory, and in particular the deportation of Palestinian civilians from the occupied Palestinian territory.
