I have the honour to request the Security Council to invite Mr. Syed Shariffudin Pirzada, Secretary-General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, to address the Security Council under rule 39 of its provisional rules of procedure, in connection with the item entitled "The situation in the occupied Arab territories", now before the Council.
