El Secretario General acoge con satisfacción la amplia participación y la forma pacífica en que se llevaron a cabo las elecciones generales del 21 de abril, lo cual confirmó el compromiso democrático del pueblo de Paraguay. El sistema de las Naciones Unidas reitera su voluntad de trabajar con la gente de Paraguay y sus nuevas autoridades electas.
