Following his statement on 1 November 2002, the Secretary-General wrote to President Paul Biya of Cameroon and President Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria on 6 November and invited them to meet with him subsequent to the judgment delivered by the International Court of Justice on 10 October on the border dispute between Cameroon and Nigeria. He proposed that they meet with him on 15 November, at the Palais des Nations in Geneva.
This has now been agreed with all concerned.
