Read-out of Secretary-General's meeting with H.E. Mr. José Sócrates, Prime Minister of Portugal

The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. José Sócrates, Prime Minister of Portugal, on the margins of the World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates. The two leaders had an in-depth exchange on the situations in Timor Leste, Guinea Bissau, Lebanon and Sudan. The ongoing crises in Tunisia and Côte d'Ivoire were also discussed.
