In addition to Ukraine, the UN Secretary-General and Secretary General Zannier also discussed the situations in the South Caucasus, Transnistria, Central Asia and Afghanistan.  In concluding, they underlined the importance of continued close cooperation between the United Nations and the OSCE in areas such as conflict prevention, mediation and elections support.
