I''m here on this day to pay respect to all victims, and particularly the families and Holocaust survivors.
The United Nations is strongly committed to prevent any such horrible things that happened. [That should happen] never and ever again.
That is why the United Nations General Assembly in 2005 adopted a Resolution and designated January 27th as the International Day of the Remembrance of the Holocaust and I have been participating in this Remembrance Day every year at the Park East Synagogue.
I pay my deepest admiration and respect to those people who endured this difficult period.
We have to do all we can to bring peace, tolerance, security and dignity to all people –regardless of religious faith, ethnicity and race. This is our strong commitment of the United Nations.
