Keithlin Caroo serves as Personal Assistant and Scheduling Officer to the President of the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Prior to this position, Ms. Caroo has worked in the Office of the Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs, the Office for Peacekeeping Strategic Partnerships and the Policy and Mediation Division. Keithlin has also worked in other capacities, for grassroots and advocacy organizations in the Eastern Caribbean, that promote the economic empowerment of rural women.

Earlier in her career, she worked as a Fulbright Coordinator and Special Assistant to the Director of International Studies at the Central Connecticut State University. She has held stints in the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States as Special Assistant to the Chief of Mission and as a translator in ‘Iniciativas Comunitarias de Paz’ a medical mission in Haiti.

She holds a Masters in International Studies from Central Connecticut State University and a Bachelors in Political Science, with a minor in International Relations, from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras.

Keithlin is a national of St. Lucia and speaks English, Spanish, French (working knowledge) and Creole.
