Bilal joined the Foreign Service of Pakistan in 2005. Since then, he has been posted to Pakistan’s Diplomatic Missions in Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
He has also held positions of Desk Officer for ASEAN; Middle East; and the United Nations respectively, at Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Before joining the Office of the President of the United Nations General Assembly, he served as Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, looking after issues related to Peace and Security.
Bilal holds a Master’s degree in Engineering, and a Master’s degree in International Business from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy where he focused on Development Finance.
