The President of the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly, H.E. Ms. María Fernanda Espinosa Garcés, met with H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International a Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates. Also in attendance wereH.E. Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Environment and Climate Change of the United Arab Emirates and H.E. Ms. Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates. The President of the General Assembly and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation discussed shared priorities for the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly, including gender equality, revitalization of the United Nations, climate action, the work of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), and the importance of upholding multilateralism and ensuring that the United Nations can respond to those in need.
