Isis Gonsalves is an assistant speechwriter and advises on communications, youth and reforms in the Office of the President of the 72nd Session of the UN General Assembly

She is a lawyer with experience in multilateral diplomacy.

Isis has served as an adviser at the Permanent Mission of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to the United Nations, focusing on the areas of climate change, oceans, the Budgetary and Administrative Committee (Fifth Committee) and Security Council reform. Prior to being posted to New York, Isis served as a Crown Counsel in the Attorney General’s Chambers in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Isis holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the West Indies, a Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad and Tobago and a Master of Laws (Corporate and Commercial Law) from the University of the West Indies.
