Joyce Fan is an Administrative Assistant in the Office of the President of the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly, a position she also held during the 71st  Session of the General Assembly.

Prior to joining the office, Joyce worked in the Outreach Unit of the Department of Management in the United Nations Secretariat. She also joined the Media Accreditation and Liaison Unit of the Department of Public Information during the General Debate of the 69th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

In previous positions, Joyce gained experiences in reporting, storytelling and documentary producing in several international and Chinese media outlets, as well as conducting academic and clinical research on the social or structural disadvantages faced by marginalized groups in the United States.

Joyce has a Master degree in Multi-Cultural Psychology from Columbia University, and speaks English and Chinese.
