The United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) in Manama serves the Kingdom of Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and the State of Qatar. The Centre engages policymakers, media, civil society, students, and the general public to bring the UN closer to the population, raising awareness about the UN’s work and global priorities. UNIC Manama works to ensure the values and goals of the United Nations are heard, understood, and reflected in local conversations and actions.
