In search of the latest global population trends? Or the new figures that reveal where the world economy is heading? Or want to find out how the international community is faring on the global goals? The answers can likely be found in the new publications catalogue launched by UN DESA this month to increase both the organization and accessibility of content for its users and readers.
The new UN DESA Publications Catalogue allows users to search and browse all UN DESA publications. These publications are easily accessible as the content is organized by category, by year, and by related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The catalogue also provides details, summaries and links to additional information for each publication. Furthermore, all publications are available for download free of charge.
In addition to the new publications catalogue, UN DESA has also launched a new Working Papers Catalogue. This catalogue contains over 180 working papers which can be easily searched or browed by category, by year, and by related SDGs. Each working paper provides JEL classification, relevant keywords and additional related information. All working papers in this catalogue are similarly available for download free of charge.
Utilizing the new catalogues, users will also have access to statistics of the most downloaded content by specific week, month and year, allowing for data analysis on the general reception of our publications and working papers.
Readers and users are also encouraged to take a UN DESA survey that will provide the UN with further information regarding user interest in our publications and working papers.
