On 15-16 December 2015, the UN General Assembly will convene a high-level meeting on the overall review of the implementation of the outcomes of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) and offer Member States an opportunity to discuss how Information Communications Technologies (ICTs) can support sustainable development.
In that light, Mr. Wu Hongbo, Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs shares his view on the role of ICTs in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, “ICTs, as a powerful enabler of sustainable development, will make great contributions to the goals and targets of the post-2015 development agenda.”
