Saturday, 13 December
The Secretary-General is in Baghdad, Iraq today. He will meet with Iraqi officials, including President Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani and Foreign Minister Fuad Mohammad Hussein. The Secretary-General will mark the closure of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI).
Sunday, 14 December
Today is International Day against Colonialism in All its Forms and Manifestations.
Today, in Riyadh, the Secretary-General will participate in the 11th Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations. Later, the Secretary-General will visit Muscat. There he will meet the Sultan of Oman, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, to discuss regional issues, including the situation in Yemen.
Monday, 14 December
This morning, the Security Council will hold an open debate on Maintenance of international peace and security: Leadership for Peace.
At noon, the Spokesperson for the Secretary-General will hold a press briefing, broadcast live on UN Web TV. This will be followed by a briefing by the Spokesperson for the President of the General Assembly.
The guest at the Noon Briefing will be Denise Brown, UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Sudan. She will brief reporters virtually on the humanitarian situation in Sudan.
Tuesday, 15 December
This morning, the Security Council will hold a briefing on the Middle East followed by consultations (on 2334 resolution).
At 10 a.m., the High-level Meeting on the twenty-year review of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS+20) will be held in the General Assembly Hall at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The meeting is supported by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA).
At noon, the Spokesperson for the Secretary-General will hold a press briefing, broadcast live on UN Web TV.
The guest at the Noon Briefing will be Anna Joubin-Bret, Secretary of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL). She will brief reporters virtually on the new UN Convention on Negotiable Cargo Documents.
In Geneva, the UN Information Service will hold its bi-weekly briefing for journalists.
Wednesday, 16 December
This morning, the Security Council will hold a meeting on the Middle East (Yemen) followed by consultations – the Secretary-General is expected to deliver remarks. In the afternoon, the Council will hold a briefing on 2745 sanctions. Also in the afternoon, the Council will hold a briefing on SC subsidiary organs.
At noon, the Spokesperson for the Secretary-General will hold a press briefing, broadcast live on UN Web TV.
The guest at the Noon Briefing will be Dennis Zulu, UN Resident Coordinator in Jamaica, The Bahamas, Bermuda, The Cayman Islands and the Turks and Caicos Islands. He will brief reporters virtually on the impact of Hurricane Melissa.
Thursday, 17 December
Today is International Migrants Day, also it is World Arabic Language Day.
This morning, the Security Council will hold a briefing on the Middle East (Syria) followed by consultations. In the afternoon, the Council will hold a briefing on the United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel (ONWAS), followed by consultations. In the afternoon, the Council will vote on draft resolutions to renew mandates of -UNDOF -MONUSCO – AUSSOM – CTED.

Friday, 18 December
This morning, the Security Council will hold a briefing on the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Libya sanctions. This will be followed by consultations.
