Air violations of the Blue Line:
PRSG calls on Israel to cease overflights
Beirut, 24 January 2002 (UN Information Centre) – The Blue Line was violated yeterday by two Israeli jets.
The Personal Representative of the Secretary-General for southern Lebanon (PRSG) reiterates that one violation cannot justify another.
The PRSG calls again upon Israeli authorities to refrain from such air violations and to fully respect the Blue Line.
