Air violations of the Blue Line
PRSG calls on Israeli authorities to halt violations
Beirut, 8 November 2001 (UN Information Centre) – The Personal Representative, of the Secretary-General for southern Lebanon, Mr. Staffan de Mistura, has noted with concern that a further two air violations, consisting of four Israeli military aircraft, took place across the Blue Line on 7 November.
The PRSG, therefore, reiterates his call upon the Israeli authorities to cease these violations and to fully respect the Blue Line.
