Air violations of the Blue Line:
PRSG calls again for halt to overflights
Beirut, 2 January 2002 (UN Information Centre) – The Personal Representative of the Secretary-General for southern Lebanon (PRSG), Mr. Staffan de Mistura, has noted with great concern that 7 Israeli air violations, consisting of 15 jets, took place across the Blue Line and into Lebanese airspace on 31 December .
The PRSG reiterates again his call upon the Israeli authorities to cease such violations and to fully respect the Blue Line.
