Air violation of the Blue Line:
PRSG reiterates calls for cessation of overf1ights
Beirut, 3 January 2002 (UN Information Centre) – One violation, consisting of two Israeli jets, took place across the Blue Line and into Lebanese airspace on 2 January.
The Personal Representative of the Secretary-General for southern Lebanon (PRSG), Mr. Staffan de Mistura, reiterates his call upon the Israeli authorities to cease such air violations and to fully respect the Blue Line.
