LETTER FROM THE REPRESENTATIVE OF EGYPT DATED 17 DECEMBER 1948
ADDRESSED TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE SECURITY COUNCIL CONCERNING
ALLEGED VIOLATION OF TRUCE BY JEWISH FORCES
I have the honour to inform you that I have received a cable from my Government to the effect that Zionist Forces have started a new attack with masses of troops against our positions at Al Falouja.
I have been asked to submit the question as a matter of great urgency before the Security Council.
I request your Excellency to include the question in the Security Council's Agenda of to-day 17 December in view of its great urgency.
