Consideration of the draft Progress Report to the Secretary-General of the United Nations
After having considered a draft text of paragraph 24 of the Report, outlining the substance of the reply from the Israeli Government to the Commission’s Memorandum of 29 March 1950, the Committee adopted the text, on the understanding that a sentence should be added to the effect that the Commission was studying the measures to be taken to implement its proposals.
After an exchange of views on the various parts of the Report, the Progress Report was adopted with a few formal changes to be made to it before it was submitted to the Commission for approval.
The meeting rose at 11.45 a.m.
