Enclosed please find the results of a preliminary occupational survey of Arab refugees in the Gaza area. You will note that this covers 12,000 refugees out of a total of 230,000.

I trust these figures will be of interest, and presume that these figures and more complete data will be available to your Technical Committee when it visits Gaza.
