UNICEF holds a water scarcity workshop in the West Bank – UNICEF Press release


Water, a Shared Responsibility for a Common Benefit

Ramallah, West Bank — UNICEF, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the Palestinian Water Authority and the Ministry of Agriculture launched a workshop on ‘Water Scarcity Task Force Response Plan’, which is supported by the Australian Government (AusAID) and the Spanish Cooperation. 

UNICEF-oPt Special Representative, Ms. Jean Gough addressed the panel and emphasized the importance of water for the survival, growth and development of children.  She called on the participants to take a collective action by adopting four key strategies to mitigate the impact of water scarcity.
