Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity to provide cancer medicines for hospitals in Palestine

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity and Humanitarian Establishment has signed contracts with a number of pharmaceutical companies to supply cancer medicines to the hospitals in Gaza strip. Ibrahim Bumilha, Deputy Chairman of MBRCE's board of trustees, said the medicines will be purchased at a total cost of Dh8.5 million and that they will be sent to the Palestine in six consignments. He added that the second phase of the programme would involve provision of medicines for heart and kidney diseases, as well as diabetes and high blood pressure. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
