EUPOL COPPS delivers training on Cyber Crimes for Palestinian lawyers

On 14 November 2016, EUPOL COPPS held a specialized training for around 25 lawyers on Cyber Crime to enhance the competence of the Palestinian lawyers in this field of specialization.

During the one-day training at the headquarters of the Palestinian Bar Association (PBA), EUPOL COPPS experts explained some technical notions on the use of computers; dangers users are facing in areas of hacking and other cybercrimes. The advisers also went throw the legal conception of the crime of hacking.

The training is part of EUPOL COPPS’ efforts to support the Palestinian Bar Association by enhancing the capacities of lawyers in order to help the Palestinian people to have a strong and independent justice system
