Of note this week
– Three Israeli civilians were killed and another injured by a Palestinian suicide bomber in the southern Israeli town of Eilat. Three Palestinians were killed, including two children, and 21 injured in the oPt by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
– Inter-factional fighting escalated significantly in the Gaza Strip. In total, 37 Palestinians were killed and 93 injured as a result of internal violence. A cease-fire agreement was brokered on 29 January but sporadic clashes have continued.
