OIC Prepares to Hold Extraordinary Summit on Palestine and Al-Quds to be Hosted by Morocco

The General Secretariat of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation announced that it has started perpetration to hold an extraordinary OIC Summit on Palestinian, Al-Quds Al-Shareef Al-Aqsa Mosque, in light of Israeli continuous policies of violence and oppression; and the dead end peace talks have reached.

Preparation for the Extraordinary Summit has begun following confirmation by the Kingdom of Morocco welcoming the hosting of it. His Majesty King Mohamed VI, Chairman of the OIC Al-Quds Committee, has always been in the forefront in the cause of Palestine and the protection of Al-Quds Al-Shareef.

OIC is consulting with the relevant authorities in the Kingdom of Morocco to determine the date and venue of the summit.

The summit is being convened in response to the call of the Palestinian president, H.E. Mahmoud Abbas, for an extraordinary summit on Palestine and Al-Quds. The OIC has always given top priority to the Palestinian issue; and will continue its ongoing efforts to mobilize support and backing for the Palestinian people and their just cause at the Islamic and international level.
