OIC Secretary General condemns Israel’s decision to reduce fuel supply to Gaza
The Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, has condemned very strongly the decision by Israel to cut fuel supply to the Gaza Strip. He described such a decision as unjust and inhuman, as well as a collective punishment and a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian law.
The Secretary General warned of the humanitarian and health fallouts of the decision in the Gaza Strip. He called on the international community and the United Nations to intervene quickly in order to prevent a humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip as a result of this Israeli action and its continuous blockade and hostility against the Palestinian people.
