Statement by the Press Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan,
on the Abduction of Israeli students in the West Bank
1. The Government of Japan strongly condemns the abduction of three Israeli students in the West Bank and calls for their immediate release and return to their family in a safe manner.
2. The Government of Japan expects close cooperation between the Israeli and Palestinian security authorities in order to ensure the prompt release of the abductees.
