Yemen to Submit Memorandum to International Court of Justice over Fence Case (28/1/2004)
The Official Spokesman of the Arab League Secretary General stated that the General Secretariat received an official notification from Yemen to the effect that the Government of the Republic of Yemen applied in writing to take part in the written presentations before the International Court of Justice, concerning the fence being constructed by Israel in the occupied territories.
A number of Arab states including Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Lebanon, as well as the Arab League, were set to submit written presentations to the International Court of Justice before the expiration of the period previously determined by the Court on the 30th of January.
