Khatib, Musa discuss Middle East peace process

 AMMAN, April 23 (Petra) — Foreign Minister Abdul Ilah Khatib and Arab League Secretary General Amr Musa on Sunday discussed steps to activate the two ministerial teams formed last week to help revive the Middle East peace process. During a telephone call yesterday, Khatib stressed the importance of joint work, underlining the role of the Arab League in this regard. He also called several Arab foreign ministers, including Egypt's Ahmad Abul Ghait, to coordinate joint Arab action to move the peace initiative forward. Khatib briefed them on His Majesty King Abdullah's contacts and efforts exerted to revive the peace process.
