OIC Secretary General Strongly Condemns Israeli Aggression On Gaza Strip

The Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, condemned in strong terms the barbaric Israeli military aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza, which left scores martyred and wounded. He described this heinous crime as a dangerous escalation and flagrant violation of all international norms and laws.
The Secretary General blamed Israel, the occupying force, for the consequences of these military escalation and abominable crimes against the defenceless Palestinian people. He declared that the continuation of this aggression alongside the policy of settlement, Judaization, incarceration, land confiscation and the demolition of homes in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip would lead to further tension and instability in the region.
The Secretary General called on active international parties to intervene resolutely in order to provide protection for the Palestinian people, stop Israeli military aggression against them, as well as condemn the perpetrators of these crimes and bring them to international justice.
