Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People
20.03.2012 – UNDP’s Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People, represented by UNDP Deputy Special Representative Yasmine Sherif signed nine partnership agreements with civil society organizations on Tuesday 20 March 2012 in the Gaza Strip. The agreements are part of UNDP’s Rule of Law Programme implemented to build the capacities of civil society organizations in the Gaza Strip to provide sustainable legal services, including legal information, legal advice and legal representation to vulnerable groups. So far 12 agreements have been signed in 2012, making the number of ongoing partnerships with the Rule of Law programme in Gaza to 24 with a total budget of USD 2 million.
