Meeting President Treki in Cairo, the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States calls for follow up on the Goldstone report by the General Assembly.

 The President of the General Assembly, H.E. Dr. Ali Abdussalam Treki, met this morning with the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, H.E. Mr. Amr Moussa, at the League's Headquarters in Cairo.

Mr. Moussa informed President Treki of the League of Arab States’ request to convening of the General Assembly at the earliest possible date following the submission of the United Nations Secretary-General’s report   A/64/651, in order to take action on a draft resolution to follow up resolution 64/10 pertaining to the Goldstone report.
