LETTER DATED 27 FEBRUARY 1998 FROM THE PERMANENT

REPRESENTATIVE OF TUNISIA TO THE UNITED NATIONS

ADDRESSED TO THE SECRETARY-GENERAL

Further to the publication of the summary statement by the Secretary-General on matters of which the Security Council is seized and on the stage reached in their consideration (S/1998/44), I have the honour to inform you that the Government of Tunisia wishes to have retained in the above-mentioned list the following two items, namely:

(a) The letter dated 1 October 1985 from the Permanent Representative of Tunisia to the United Nations addressed to the President of the Security Council (S/17509);

(b) The letter dated 19 April 1988 from the Permanent Representative of Tunisia to the United Nations addressed to the President of the Security Council (S/19798).

I should be grateful if you would have this letter issued as a document of the Security Council.
