Letter dated 2 October 2000 from the Permanent Representative of South Africa

to the United Nations addressed to the President of the Security Council

In my capacity as Chair of the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement, I have the honour to request that the Security Council urgently convene a meeting to respond to the critical situation in Occupied East Jerusalem, other parts of the Occupied Palestinian Territory and parts of Israel.

I should be grateful if you would have this letter circulated as a document of the Security Council.
