Draft resolution A/C.5/58/L.81

 

1.   Mr. Kendall (Argentina), reporting on the outcome of the informal consultations on the item, said that, regrettably, it had not been possible to achieve a consensus on a text despite the considerable efforts made. He was therefore unable to submit a draft resolution for consideration by the Committee.

2.  Mr. Al-Ansari (Qatar) introduced draft resolution A/C.5/58/L.81, entitled “Financing of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon”, on behalf of the Group of 77 and China.

 

The meeting rose at 10.20 a.m.
