I have the honour to request an emergency meeting of the Security Council, to be convened today, 31 May 2010, under rule 2 of the provisional rules of procedure, to discuss the military intervention by Israel, in international waters, of a multinational convoy of ships carrying humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza.
