In my capacity as Chairman of the Coordinating Bureau of the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries, I have the honour to refer to the letter dated 13 October 2000 from the Chair of the Arab Group for the month of October, the Permanent Representative of Iraq to the United Nations, addressed to the President of the General Assembly.
I have the further honour to convey to you that the members of the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries, in a meeting on 13 October 2000, expressed their unanimous support for the request of the Arab Group to resume the tenth emergency special session of the General Assembly to consider the item “Illegal Israeli actions in Occupied East Jerusalem and the rest of the Occupied Palestinian Territory”.
