Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. John Kerry, Secretary of State, United States of America

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon met today with His Excellency Mr. John Kerry, Secretary of State of the United States, on the margins of the Vibrant Gujarat conference in Ahmedabad, India. 

They discussed international peace and security issues, including UN efforts to address the crisis in Libya, the urgency of returning to negotiations to achieve a two state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and the need for progress on nuclear disarmament of the Korean Peninsula.
