The Secretary-General met with H.E. Ms. Zuzana Čaputová, President of the Slovak Republic.  The Secretary-General and the President discussed global efforts to combat climate change, as well as the outcomes of the 2019 Climate Action Summit. The Secretary-General appreciated Slovakia’s concrete contributions in this respect. He also congratulated Slovakia on its Chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe in 2019.
