The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Khemais Jhinaoui, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tunisia. The Secretary-General congratulated Tunisia on the successful holding of the first round of presidential elections. He reiterated United Nations solidarity with, and support to, Tunisia’s remarkable transition. The Secretary-General and Mr. Jhinaoui also discussed the situation in Libya.
